Portrait of Hugo wearing a customary whimsical outfit.

Wordsmith Aspirant

A scribe residing within the labyrinthine Motometro Library, who upon finding an archaic, silicon-based processor in the Relics Department (a.k.a. The Dumping Ground), has since repurposed the device in an ambitious - though likely futile - attempt at cataloguing the Library's vast collection of grimoires, tomes, tablets, scrolls, parchments, and otherwise fiddly bits of paper.

This doomed individual voluntarily assumes various roles in the Library, and embarks on projects without which the world would happily go on spinning (if, in fact, the astronomers are to be believed).

He periodically breaks rhythm to tend a questionably fruitful arboretum, and to exercise the resident quadruped.
